What's cardigan?
According to Merriam-Webster online dictionary, cardigan is a "collarless sweater or jacket that opens the full length of the center front."
Yet, my definition of cardigans is a bit more specific and personal. My skin is allergic to all furry textures except cashmere (synthetic furs such as polyester are okay) so there are certain types of cardigans I prefer over the others. I also have a petite figure (5'2'' and less than 110Ib) so I don't like wearing anything heavy and clunky.
Also, cardigans discussed in this blog are women's cardigans.
